John Ruffino

John Is a managing partner of Red Mountain Entertainment in Birmingham, Alabama, which along with partner Gary Weinberger, formed in 2005 after their exit from Clear Channel Entertainment. Red Mountain quickly jumped into the touring business producing concerts and festivals and exclusively promoting 40 shows on the highly successful Rowdy Frynds Tour with Lynyrd Skynyrd and Hank Williams Jr. in 2007 and 2008. Red Mountain Entertainment finished 2007 ranked No. 17 in the top 50 North American concert promoters according to Pollstar. John began working in the concert industry in 1989 at New Era Productions with legendary concert promoter and father, Tony Ruffino, who began his career in the 1970’s working with acts such as Led Zeppelin, The Allman Brothers and Jimi Hendrix. Red Mountain Entertainment was voted one of 2008 promoter of the year by IEBA.
