Philip K. Lyon

Philip K. Lyon is legal counsel for IEBA and is a founding member of Lyon & Phillips, PLLC, formerly the Nashville office of Little Rock firm Jack, Lyon & Jones, P.A., which he co-founded in 1986. Lyon & Phillips also maintains an office in the Ozark Mountains near Jasper, Arkansas, about 55 miles south of Branson. A native of Warren, Arkansas, Philip has practiced law since 1967, focusing on entertainment and labor & employment issues. Among his many other organizational affiliations, he’s currently a member of the Governing Council for the American Bar Association’s Forum Committee on the Entertainment & Sports Industries, and also does legal work for both the Academy of Country Music and the Country Music Association. A lifelong country music fan, Philip probably owns every George Jones LP and/or CD ever released.
