Charlie Blum

Charlie is the president and CEO of the Star Plaza Theatre and also serves as talent buyer for this premier Chicagoland venue. During his 19 year tenure at this facility, along with a previous 11 year stint with the Nederlander Organization, Blum has worked with virtually every major entertainer in the industry. Under the banner of Star Productions Charlie and his team are currently promoting concerts at other venues throughout North America. The company is also a producing partner in the “Ultimate Doo Wop Show” represented by ICM. He has been nominated for numerous awards including ACM’s “Promoter of the Year” and Pollstar’s “Talent Buyer of the Year. Charlie is also the host of “Lakeshore Classic Movies”, a top-rated Sunday morning television show on PBS in Chicago.
