Bamajam looks to become an annual tradition for music fans
On June 3rd 2010, over 109,000 fans joined together to celebrate the human spirit through music and arts at the 3-day/3-night Verizon Wireless Bamajam Music & Arts Festival, located in Enterprise, AL.
Now in its 3rd year, this Country Music Festival blends in bluegrass and alternative bands to provide an experience found nowhere else. This year’s line-up brought together artists including Kenny Chesney, Buddy Guy, Hank Williams Jr., Train, Miranda Lambert, Gregg Allman, Zac Brown Band, The Grascals and many more to the transformed peanut field, resulting in 600 acres of pure entertainment. The festival produced an economic impact of 6-8 million dollars for Enterprise and the county, and created over 2,000 temporary jobs through vendors, security, and other support staff. Although young, Bamajam has experienced tremendous growth in its first three years, and has become an invaluable asset to the surrounding community as well as thousands of music lovers from all over the nation. The Bamajam Music & Arts Festival has proven it’s success, and will surely become a tradition for years to come.
