Tiffany Davis

Executive Director

Tiffany oversees all aspects of the organization including industry relations, member development and education, marketing, strategic alliances and event planning including IEBA’s annual conference and Hall of Fame. She has developed a college mentoring program that has led to successfully placing over a dozen graduates in industry positions since 2008.

Prior to IEBA, she spent time at RLM / Mission Management working closely with artists Little Big Town, Jennifer Hanson, Darryl Worley and Stephanie Urbina Jones on special events, promotional materials, website and fan initiatives.

Before moving to Nashville, Tiffany served as Director of Membership Programs & Creative Services at the Academy of Country Music for over five years. Tiffany joined the Academy staff in April 2002 after moving to Los Angeles from Houston. Her responsibilities included member recruitment and member programming for over 4800 professional members and over 60,000 fan members. During her tenure she redesigned much of the membership criteria and introduced corporate membership levels as well as a brand new category of membership for producers, engineers and studio managers. She also implemented the very successful online Associate Member program for fans.

Tiffany led the design and managed the electronic voting system used to conduct awards show voting, making the Academy the first televised awards show to vote on all awards via electronic means. In 2006 she created the annual Number-One Party honoring songwriters. She also produced the first Town Hall Meeting for industry leaders in Nashville, which explored the current state of technology and its affect on music. She produced the first ACM Honors event in Nashville in 2007. Before leaving the Academy, Tiffany developed a task force that produced several showcase events for Film & Television to broaden the appeal of country music to those communities.

She served as editor of the Academy publication, The Tempo, and the ACM Awards souvenir program. She also oversaw all aspects of the design and maintenance of the Academy’s main website as well as the fan and charitable fund websites. Responsible for implementing a searchable membership/awards/photo database, the archives proved essential in the development of the Academy’s 40th Anniversary Celebration on CBS Television as well as numerous publicity and media opportunities.

A Houston native, she graduated from Texas State University with her master’s degree in education. Tiffany studied vocal music through high school, and has been closely involved with the music business since childhood. She served as assistant production manager for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo concert series for six years as well as many other Houston area concert events. Professional affiliations include: Leadership Music, SOURCE, NARAS, NAPW, Country Music Association, Country Music Hall of Fame, Who's Who, Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, Texas State Alumni Association and Zeta Tau Alpha Fraternity. Hobbies include photography, music, antique shopping, interior design, movies and Pilates.

Candice (Johnson) Davis

Operations & Event Manager

Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, Candice moved to Nashville and transferred to Belmont University in early 2008. Before moving to Nashville, she attended a small community college outside of Atlanta where she was actively involved in jazz band for two years. Candice has always been passionate about educating youth on the fundamentals of music history and musicianship, which led her to give drum and violin lessons up until she moved to TN. In Fall of 2009, she joined IEBA as an intern and served as production assistant at IEBA's annual conference that same year. During her last semester at Belmont in Spring 2010 she interned with Randi Events, assisting in various music industry events such as No. 1 parties, Country Radio Seminar events and supervising weddings. In May 2010, Candice graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Music Business from the prestigious Mike Curb College of Entertainment and Music Business. Shortly after graduating, she started her full-time position as Operations & Event Manager at IEBA, where she oversees sponsorship and membership relations, and helps in planning the IEBA conference. In her free time, she enjoys playing music, going to concerts, designing/planning events, and collecting antiques from old vinyl to vintage jewelry.
