IEBA Honors

For the first time IEBA Honors was held at the historic Ryman Auditorium on October 12, 2009.

Each year we salute those that have shaped where we are and those that continue to reinvent the entertainment industry. This year we honored Barbara Hubbard with the Harry A. Peebles Award for her selfless mentorship to numerous students, many of whom have gone on to enjoy great success as performers and industry business leaders. We also honored Joan Saltel with the Lifetime Achievement Award and Chubby Checker with the Career Achievement Award. The show was hosted by noted actor, Luke Perry and featured many performances from music legends and rising stars including: Jamey Johnson, Randy Houser, Jessie James, Chris Young, Lorrie Morgan and Judson Laipply with a special appearance by Brenda Lee.

Other past honorees have included those listed below as well as: Patti Page, Loretta Lynn, Lou Rawls, Brenda Lee, Cheap Trick, Alice Cooper, Wayne Newton, Barbara Mandrell, ZZ Top, Styx, LeAnn Rimes and numerous others.
